Hi guys,
I’m Danielle Houston but you can call me Dani. My birthday is August 15th. Shoutout to all the Leos! I currently attend Georgia State University, where I’m majoring in marketing and minoring in international business. This is my senior year and I can not wait to graduate!!! Can you tell I’m excited? Think about it, most of us have been in school since we were 4. That’s 18 years of NON-STOP school. My ultimate goal once I graduate is to continue growing my clothing brand, Draped and attend fashion school. At the beginning of the year, I earned my sewing certification and I’ve been sewing ever since. I honestly have no passion to work at a top business firm and sit behind a desk. No offense to those that do but my passion has always been in fashion.
Hmm, what else is there to tell you? I can write all day long about different topics but when it comes to writing about myself I always go blank. Let’s see, my favorite food is pasta and lemon pepper wings. I’m lowkey addicted to vanilla ice cream, it’s like I crave it every single time I’m finished with dinner. I’m the youngest child. I have one older sister and brother, which I love because of the special treatment. My sister is expecting her first child and I’m beyond excited to be an aunt! I know I’m going to be that extra aunt who yells the loudest at all of the sporting events and dresses the baby in girly tutus and bows. If it is a girl she definitely will be a cheerleader, no exceptions lol. I cheered from age four to age seventeen. I have won countless national and world championship titles with Platinum Elite and the Stingray Allstars. In addition, to being a cheerleader, I’ve also competed in a few pageants.
Last semester, I competed in the Miss Omega Psi Phi scholarship pageant here at Georgia State. Reading this you’re probably thinking “she’s such a girly girl”, which is true but I also have an adventurous side. I love roller coasters, going to the gun range, riding ATV bikes, and ziplining. Over the summer I participated in a study abroad to Costa Rica and Panama. While in Costa Rica, I went horseback riding and zip lining through the jungle. It was literally the most exhilarating thing I’ve ever done. I can’t wait to be able to travel and live my best life once I graduate. Overall, I’m just an ambitious, adventurous and loving person who loves spending time with friends/family and trying new things. That pretty much sums me up in less than 500 characters. I hope that wasn’t too boring. Enjoy my blog, catch you later.
Best,
Dani
