Hello guys! Today we’re going to have a guest blogger on today’s post. Meet our special guest for today, Jasmine.
About Jasmine:
Welcome to the inside scoop of yours truly, Jasmine! You may know me as a renowned photographer or an innovative business blogger. You can define me as both, ill take it! But most importantly my job is to be here for you! This isn’t another “paid ad”, informative blogs that promote some bs product or service. No, I am here to give you the facts, the knowledge, the details, the inside scope of what’s going on in the social media world. Here to give you the business on businesses ( *Pun. Laugh here*) Our world is so involved with technology nowadays that most of the human species can’t even go to the restroom without bringing their phone, laptop, or Kindle. We even base most of our decisions off of what we see on the internet with social media being one of the most influential platforms. Social Media plays a huge role in the success of businesses because of the value it provides to their users. We easily connect through Messenger and DMs, “likes” and “Shares”, podcast, etc. and since most millennials justify their value through these sort of factors, it’s important as marketers to use these platforms to your full advantage. The purpose of my blogs is to keep you, the marketer, up to date on the hot and not in the social media world. Of course we are familiar with Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Reddit, etc. but there’s more to the social media world than that! More opportunities to reach a higher audience when you research more than just the “known” platforms. You never know what the next big thing for social media, and you could be one of the first to invest/ utilize for your advantage. DMM will keep marketers informed on what social media platforms to invest their time in!
Hello Everyone, It’s Jasmine and I’m here to talk about the differences between Flickr and We♥It. Social media continues to rise as one of the most popular activities in human lives today, and there has been an increase over the years in the amount of platforms available. While Flickr and We♥It are quite similar in the idea that you can post photos and connect with people through the internet, there is a difference in the design and interface of the two. Flickr focuses mainly around picture editing and creative photos. The audience of clicker would be people who are creative and who like photography, whereas We♥It audience can be every day people just wanting to share passions, every day post, stuff they just like in general. I believe that also has a broader audience than We♥It because of the universal design elements such as choice of brand color, and overall brand style in general. We♥It extends the invitation to everyone, but has a platform that appeals mostly to the female audience considering that most post are about fashion, makeup, traveling, etc. Flickr can have a wider variety of even more creative post across a different array of people. Flickr is more of a platform for creative expression with interface that allows for more in-depth editing. The audience for Flickr can actually be on We♥It as well. All they have to do is edit their post through Flickr and can post on both platforms. I would say Flickr is designed for a more creative, expert audience that can edit photos in a way that We♥It would not allow. Keep rocking on Flickr, I look forward to seeing what’s next!
